Person holding this role is responsible for the Data, AI and Automation Expert labs delivery business of IBM globally focussed on driving modernization, Cloud deployments, API/Microservices , event integration etc across. With every enterprise and industry getting unbundled, the new to connect everything and realise value at the intersection of different capabilities in an enterprise is critical. Expectation to have in-depth understanding of how various products and enterprise architectures have/are evolving and position IBM to be able to operate as an orchestrator and integrator of the enterprise of the future. This role is aligned to WW Expert labs mission and part of IBM Software lab Organization.
What you’ll do:
“As a Resource Deployment Manager you will
Team members are located worldwide, and frequently communicate and work with customers and other development/support teams to ensure the services are optimal. Ability to work in a team environment, learn new skills, documentation and knowledge/runbook creation, comfortable communicating at various levels of management are a must. Monitoring an ensuring the stability of various client solutions, participating in various development, testing and/or automation projects to optimize the efficiency of the team, based on the current prioritized backlog are also part of the responsibilities. Flexibility to work in different timezones based on the customer alignment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in :-
• Be a Trusted Advisor to the respective Expert Services or Customer Success Stakeholder(s)
• Lead Capacity Forecasting activities to support respective segment
• Review, manage and execute staffing of resource requests
• Align staffing of billable personnel, maximizing ability to achieve billable utilization targets
• Support the creation and development of a sub-capacity framework
• Maintain regular interlock with partner team to meet the growth capacity
• Ensure skills inventory, resumes and profiles of are updated and accurate in line with policy.
• Contribute to professional services knowledge base through creation of best practices and lessons learned content. “

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7+ years in resource management
• 5+ years in a professional services organization
• The ability to apply judgement to any situation
• Ability to work in a high demand, constantly changing & fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and prioritization management
• RMI Certification a plus
