The successful candidate will have a passion for building high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. The candidate will participate in requirements gathering, sprint planning, design and technical review to support overall achievement of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and implementation of sophisticated software systems back end.
• Participate in, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Code Management (git), and GitHub
• Participate in the planning, creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing
• Maintain a high level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Work as an Agile scrum team member”

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Backend development experience
• Strong Java skills
• Expertise with building REST APIs
• Expertise with test automation tools (Contract Driven Testing using Pact, Postman, RestAssure, etc.)
• Expertise with Agile and DevOps development methodology
• Expertise with micro services being built in docker containers for Kubernetes deployments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Skills with ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ
