Your Role and Responsibilities

Guardium Development team looking for experienced Software Developer. This role combines hands-on understanding in both security and software development. Ability to work on Windows and Unix systems and experience with agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

Guardium, a part of IBM Security Group, is seeking a passionate and bright SW Developer that wish to take part in the development of the company’s data security product.

We develop a real-time data security and monitoring solution to safeguard enterprise most critical data.

• This position includes hands on development of high quality code. Dealing with performance challenges, robustness, recover-ability and production readiness.

• Design and develop solutions to complex issues that combine our on premise and cloud resources

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, QA and Developers.

• Work collaboratively with other geographically dispersed Guardium teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

• English Fluent (verbal and written)

• 5 + years of experience in Java, Python, Go, NodeJS or other structured language

• Experience with Dockers technologies

• Experience with database technologies for SQL (such as DB2) and NoSQL (such as MongoDB) databases

• Experience with Linux, Unix, Shellscript

• Experience with code management tooling such as Git, Github, Gitlab

• Autonomous and self learning skills, ability to work independently

• Strong communication skills .

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experince in the Security world

• Experiance with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, GCP

• Familiarity with Elastic Stack – Advantage

• Familiarity with dynamic programming languages such as Ruby – Advantage

• Demonstrates strong ability to take ownership of the projects and provide adequate visibility on the progress.

• Aggressively addresses and resolves problems, and actively improves processes, products, and/or services.
