Your Role and Responsibilities
Our organization is responsible for developing and delivering standardized and automated VMware virtualization solutions on IBM Cloud to our clients. We are hiring experienced software test engineers to be part of our dynamic development team to help with quality assurance of our automated solutions, including a growing number of high value add-on services and solutions.
Qualified candidates will be responsible for:

• Participating on software test teams in system verification, regression and automation of solutions in fast-paced environment.
• Hands on writing and executing stabilization test cases, regression and automation.
• Analysis with test and development teams to influence most valuable testcases to automate, areas to assume risk, identify duplication in effort, and general efficiencies.
• Manual test execution per sprint, create required configurations, test planning, defect tracking, issue resolution and testcase currency.
• Build/maintain automation infrastructure tools
• Working with development to understand gaps in quality to ensure future improvements
• Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices

Candidates will work remotely with the existing QA team in NC, USA.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience with software test execution, test planning, automation.
• 1+ years of experience with Python or Java
• 1+ years of experience with software engineering
• Good Analytical and Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1+ years of experience with Linux system administration or development
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript/CSS/HTML
• 1+ years of experience with Ansible
• 1+ years of experience with VMware administration
• 1+ years of experience with UI development
• 1+ years of experience with Jenkins build and platforms
• 1+ years of experience with GitHub issue and code management
