Your Role and Responsibilities

• We approach our testing with an automation-first mindset, designing and architecting our work to be consistent and reproduceable. Success in this role means having the curiosity to explore new innovations that expedite our testing cycles while maintaining complex testing configurations.
• Designing and automating test suites to ensure reliability of the platform technology
• Having a client-first mindset to test at scale and imitate customer-like environments
• Creating strategies and scripts to test new features and functionalities
• Contributing and reviewing code for internal and external repositories
• Documenting processes and procedures for clarity and reproducibility

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Required Technical and Professional Expertise with relevant experience of 5-8 years:
• Sound knowledge of operating system internals (Linux/Unix/zOS)
• Proficient programming skills (C, Python), and scripting for automation
• Knowledge of Testing Processes and Methodologies
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies
• Proven debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge on virtualization, networking, storage and IO interfaces
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience of working with z/OS
• Solution Test is the last level of test prior to a customer receiving the product. It is very important we find the defects prior to our customers.
