Introduction

Watsonx Code Assistant is an exciting new offering from IBM that aims to revolutionize enterprise software development with Generative AI. We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in React, Node.js. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, the ability to lead a team while actively contributing, and expertise in building scalable applications using modern technologies.

Your role and responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers while actively contributing to development tasks.

• Design, develop, and optimize React and Node.js applications.

• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for scalability and performance.

• Work with Git for source control and collaborative development.

• Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.

Required technical and professional expertise

• 10+ years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in React.js, Node.js, and Webpack with hands-on development experience.

• Strong understanding and experience of microservices architecture and design patterns.

• Proficiency in Git for version control and team collaboration.

• Experience with Python for backend or scripting tasks.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with Carbon Design System for UI development.

• Understanding of IAM authentication concepts (OAuth, JWT, SAML, OpenID Connect, etc.).

• Experience with Docker for containerized applications.

• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and scalability.
