Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Security & Compliance Center (SCC) automates the discovery of resources, gathering of configuration information, validating them against standards and remediating them as needed. SCC does this for multiple public/private clouds and on-premises. For IBM Cloud itself, SCC can even prevent mis-configuration – alerting or blocking – misconfigurations that violate customer defined rules. SCC also analyses admin and network activity to report on potentially suspicious and risky activity. Collectively SCC helps elevate the security and compliance posture of the hybrid cloud infrastructure, reduces cost/organization stress in preparing for an audit and eliminates surprise negative audit findings.

Who you are

• Experience of more than 15 years developing enterprise applications.
• People manager for atleast 7+ years
• Participate and contribute in design/architecture discussions
• Strong believer in having an excellent culture
• Worked in a devsecops model
• Experience in working for both startup/established companies

What you will do

• Lead a team of passionate engineers to build a world class cloud security solutions
• Interact with product managers and architects for planning and delivery
• People and program management

How we will help you grow

• work with awesome team to build an highly resilient cloud solutions you will be building the cloud instead of using the cloud
• Gain experience in the security domain and operational excellence
• Manage and guide a team of Sr/Principal Engineers
• Work with CTO and OM teams to translate requirements to timely deliverables Participate in code reviews, Design/Architecture discussions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 15+ overall years of experience
• 7+ years in management
• Ability to actively manage multiple parallel projects with high expectations for quality and velocity.
• Experience in developing software products in Java, Python, GO develop, test, build and deploy.
• Experience in using DevOps Tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with configuring infrastructure (cloud services, OS, Databases, firewalls) for secure operation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to various industry safety regulation and standards, including NIST / PCI / SOC2 / HIPAA etc…
• Prior experience leading projects in the area of Information Security, Compliance and/or Threat Management
• Preferable from Product organizations
