We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Consultant with a strong background in airline passenger and commercial domains. With 18-20 years of industry experience, you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, working with clients to provide strategic guidance and deliver impactful solutions that address critical business challenges. This role requires deep knowledge of airline operations, revenue management, customer experience, and commercial strategies, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-value, innovative solutions within the aviation sector.
As a Principal Product Consultant, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, define product strategies, and drive successful solution implementations. You will also play a key role in enhancing the organization’s expertise in airline passenger and commercial products, providing insights into industry trends and market demands.
Role & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Product Consulting: Act as a primary consultant for clients in the airline passenger and commercial domains, providing insights and guidance to shape product strategies that align with industry best practices and future trends.
• Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, understanding their business objectives and challenges to recommend tailored solutions.
• Solution Design & Roadmapping: Lead the design and development of high-impact solutions for airline passenger and commercial services, including revenue management, customer experience, loyalty programs, and sales optimization.
• Industry Expertise & Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with airline industry trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements, using this knowledge to inform product development and guide clients on best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, development, and project teams to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines, facilitating smooth and efficient delivery of client solutions.
• Mentorship & Thought Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing expertise and insights to help elevate the team’s overall proficiency in the airline passenger and commercial domains.

Technical Qualifications Qualifications

• Experience: 18-20 years of experience in product consulting, product management, or a similar role, with a strong focus on airline passenger and commercial domains.
• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of airline passenger services, customer experience strategies, revenue management, sales and distribution channels, loyalty programs, and commercial operations.
• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Consulting Skills: Proven experience in consulting roles with an ability to deliver strategic, client-centric solutions and build long-term client relationships.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize industry trends and data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and engage effectively with senior executives.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects to successful completion.

Preferred Skills

• Technological Knowledge: Familiarity with airline technology stacks, digital transformation, or emerging technologies like AI, data analytics, and machine learning relevant to the airline industry.
• Project Management: Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Innovation Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the airline passenger and commercial space.
