Responsibilities
1. To provide leadership in coordinating the implementation on-farm vegetable demonstrations of improved varieties and seedling production systems, good agricultural practices, integrated pest management and postharvest management. Lead a team of Agronomist, Scientific Officer, Finance Officer, Technical Officers serving in different project districts across Jharkhand to implement on-farm trials, run training programs and to scale up innovations in vegetable production.
2. Will organize and implement training programs to strengthen the capacity of local partners in carrying out research and extension activities for vegetable growers
3. Shall establish and maintain effective relationships and communication links with the JOHAR management team, WorldVeg regional headquarters and other project partners to ensure effective field implementation of improved vegetable cultivation practices.
