JOB TITLE: Coder Exclusive Assistant to a US based Medical Coding Account Manager LOCATION: Noida DEPARTMENT: Coding Shift Timings: Night Shift (Split/Partial)
POSITION SUMMARY: The position is a combination of performing coding tasks (60%) and other duties to assist the US based Account Manager that may not be coding related to support physician clients including special projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You are a dedicated coder assistant to a US based Medical Coding Account Manager in the Coding Department.
• You will perform coding-related tasks (60%) for physician clients.
• Knowledgeable in analyzing and validating clinical documentation.
• Performing research on topics such as coding & billing guidelines specific to specialties.
• You will be trained to perform other tasks that are not coding-related (20%)
• You will interact & communicate (20%) in writing and/or via phone directly to Physicians and/or their staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-year Coding experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in coding tools such as Encoder Pro, CPT, HCPCS & Diagnosis Books, etc.
• Knowledge of different insurance portals to look for coding and billing guidelines.
• Ability to learn Applications and Systems.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• Must adhere to company compliance.
