Job Description

The Role

• We are looking for a Video Producer/Editor who is a creative problem solver and can manage all elements of a video s pre-production, production and post-production process, including planning, scheduling, and editing.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive research to understand the flavor and format of video content being produced within the industry and otherwise.
• Ideate and conceptualize creatively rich, compelling content that will resonate with our target market and elicit engagement and virality.
• Script, storyboard, budget and allocate resources keeping in mind the content, length, tone, and style requirements
• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, and customer stories
• Plan video shoots; scout, select, and book shoot locations
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, color correcting, media management and archiving project media
• Work independently as well as part of the design and marketing teams to brainstorm and deliver high-performing video content

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years in a similar role with a fantastic portfolio of video/motion projects
• Graduate or postgraduate in film and video communication, animation or graphic design
• Highly proficient with video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc
• Adept at handling and sourcing equipment with a deep understanding of cameras, lights and the latest gadgets
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• A creative bent of mind and storytelling skills
• Basic knowledge of social media and content marketing would be a plus
