About the internship/job: Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Selling products and services 2. Greeting customers warmly and ascertaining problems or reasons for calling 3. Canceling or upgrading accounts 4. Assisting with the placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges 5. Advising on company information 6. Taking payment and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers 7. Acting as the company gatekeeper 8. Handling product recalls 9. Informing customers about deals and promotions 10. Closing out or opening call records 11. Compiling reports on overall customer satisfaction 12. Reading from scripts 13.
