Job Title: AM/Manager QC

Reports to: Manufacturing Head

Educational Qualification: Graduation, B.Tech in Food Technology

Experience: 8 to 15 years

Desired Industry Exposure: FMCG

Salary: Negotiable

Location: Ranchi

Age of the candidate : 30 to 40 years

Essential Responsibilities:

· Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes through sales team

· Devising and review specifications for products or processes

· Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance

· Leading Raw material and product inspection plan creation & management, and ensuring alignment with the factory Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS) & the factory HACCP plan

· Ensuring adherence to GMP, health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations

· Supervising chemists and assistants and provide guidance and feedback on quality standards

· Overseeing all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards

· Inspecting final output and compare properties to requirements

· Approving the right products and rejecting defectives

· Soliciting feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met

· Developing high quality standards and ownership across the value chain within the allocated budgets.

· Providing technical support/resources for Co-manufacturers and Affiliates, which include ensuring continued compliance to formal release requirements of associated products.

· Monitoring and assessing performance of the quality systems, report its effectiveness to management and implement actions for improvement

· Ensuring compliance to internal and external audits i.e. FSSC 22000/Market audits/regulatory inspections

· Leading execution of the food safety team and programs to ensure HACCP are followed.

· Ensuring HACCP are executed on the floor effectively to promote food safety standards.

· Actively participating in the change control process, including new products to ensure allergen matrix is applied.

· Leading document control to ensure key documents and records are maintained (BOM’s etc.) to demonstrate products are manufactured following food safety standards.

· Driving Hygiene and GMP programs across the whole factory and external warehouse.

· Staying up to date of new and/or updated Regulatory Policies within the facility & act accordingly.

· Conducting regular training for workers and the team on various quality topics with the aim of improving overall product quality and reducing customer complaints.

· Conducting internal departmental audits and proposing corrective actions

· Ensuring CIP is done as per specifications and verifying CIP through testing

· Finding ways of improving CIP system/chemicals

· Leading Execution of overall line hygiene including pest control services

· Responsible for Product release coordination and Product holds and rework dispositions

· Responsible for Traceability for product recall & withdrawal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
