Role Description Role & Responsibility
Responsible for managing AWS cloud environmentCost optimization in AWS environmentResponsible for handling escalated incidents and High Availability environment incident Management on LINUX PlatformResponsible for handling CISCO UCS Physical serversProblem Management on LINUX Platform.Proficient in ticketing tools like Service NowChange Management: Prepare Implementation, back out and test plan for Change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes.Understanding of Disaster Recovery planning and conducting DR tests.Basic Understanding of AWS Public Cloud
Technical skills

Linux Admin
AWS cloud managementLinux server administration skills across RHEL6,7 operating systemsSignificant experience with Disk Management, File Permissions, NFS, Application serversTechnical understanding of Package Installation & Server patching using tools.Knowledge of VM build, Template.Provision Infrastructure as a service cloud computing for platforms such as AWS.Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in Cloud/IAAS.Responsible for Linux and windows server Installation, Maintenance, Monitoring & Patching on IAAS.Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in cloud/IaaS.
Cloud Admin
Proficiency and Proven Hands-on experience AWS Services; EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, ELB, AWS Security, S3, RDS, EBS, ECS.Basic knowledge in Operations Automation scripting, like PowerShell/Linux Shell.Automation in a cloud environment – Infrastructure as Code, especially using AWS.Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.AWS Certification is a must.
Secondary skills
Basic knowledge of SpacewalkShould have good knowledge on monitoring system like Science Logic, New Relic.Knowledge of storage architecture and connectivity option such as ISCSI, FC.Working knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident / Change / Problem Management
