India Power Looking For General Manager – Renewable at Kolkata, West Bengal, Full Time

We are looking for dynamic Renewable Energy professionals seeking career opportunities in this sector, preferably with at least 10 years of experience in the Renewable / Solar business and have been involved in developing greenfield solar projects at various pre and post-project functions.

The ideal fit for the role would be someone with excellent Technical know-how, strong business / financial acumen, excellent communication, and liaisoning skills to identify opportunities and drive business growth.

Here is a snapshot of the key responsibilities for this role-

Develop greenfield solar projects. Provide support to conceptualize, develop, get it allocated from Govt., build a financing structure, and appoint key partners/team members to execute it.

Implement and optimize processes to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.

Be a part of negotiations with key clients, suppliers, and partners.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the renewable energy division, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as needed.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies/officials, industry partners, and community organizations.
