Inclusion (Facilitate Employee Resource groups)-
The incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will enhance inclusion by engaging minority groups (affinity groups) and help them participate, develop and contribute equitably. S/he will connect diversity and human rights to the sustainability goals of Infosys and relate these to the HR and business philosophies. S/he would establish appropriate networks, and deploy engagements such as mentoring, counseling, discussion forums and events (e.g. IWIN, Family Matters, Infyability etc.). S/he will Collaborate with HR and relevant stakeholders to handle employee grievances, understand concepts and develop tools to measure inclusion, benchmark appropriate practices outside Infosys, measure the appropriateness in Infosys context and deploy the same internallyin order to effectively leverage diversity. S/He should be part of exit interviews in the event of exits due to Diversity or Inclusion related issues and take active measures to address the issues identified.
Influence (Collaborate with business and stakeholders to embrace diversity practices)-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will identify appropriate channels for accountability and influence business to include diversity parameters for measuring their success levels. S/he would collaborate with HR, Quality and ILI to include diversity parameters as a part of employee engagement surveys, manager feedback and leadership index. S/he would enhance awareness among the business through campaigns and mass events, benchmark policies based on “best in class” and “compliance related”in order to reach the diversity mandate at Infosys. S/He would conduct learning workshops to sensitize employees about the diversity issues and initiatives in the organization. S/He would leverage the use of the organization’s technological capabilities to drive communications about diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Integration (Geographies and minority groups into the main stream)-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will conduct integration efforts including 1) integration of minority groups including multi-cultural work force. This involves diversity training to enable cross cultural collaboration and help employees appreciate differences in the work place 2) create common ground by propagating Infosys culture across ITL and subsidiaries and 3) enhance the experience of new hires (non Indian location) and help them settle down through buddy programs, monitor activities such as class room interventions with ILI, diversity movies, Diversity and Infosys culture guides and leadership interventions with ILI support in order to achieve the One Infosys philosophy.
Impact (Position Infosys as employer of choice and thought leader in diversity space)-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will partner with external stakeholders and position Infosys as an equal opportunity employer and a diversity sensitive company. S/he would work with PR, Marketing and HR functions and work on media campaigns in order to focus on branding Infosys in the diversity space. S/He would participate on Academic forums to brand and promote Infosys as an inclusive workplace.
Research and Benchmarking-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will conduct extensive primary and secondary research to identify the best practices across organizations on Diversity and Inclusion. S/He would conceptualize and drive interventions aligned to the best practices, to institutionalize a culture of Diversity and Inclusion in the organization. S/He would maintain relations with academic institutions to incorporate the findings diversity related research studies into the organization’s diversity initiatives.
Diversity plan compliance-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will create a diversity plan to meet with local legal and Government compliance across Geographies, monitor and report to internal stakeholders on the level of compliance including collaborating with legal and HR across geographies for local diversity compliance and maintain dashboards in order to ensure diversity plan compliance.
Supporting business-
Incumbent in Diversity and Inclusion will collaborate with Business teams to facilitate their relationship with clients using diversity platform, help the Presales on client RFPs and visits with activities such as create RFP dossiers and organize events for sharing Infosys practices with the clients. S/he would create diversity forums, collaterals and dashboards to enable clients meet their diversity goals in order to showcase diversity & inclusion practices of Infosys
Reporting and Analytics-
DEI reports, dashboards, insights and newsletters on a periodic basis.
Experience – Minimum 10 years post MBA
