Job Description

As part of the Unified Collaboration Team, you will utilize your strong Cisco Engineering skills to work with technical and functional teams to deliver unified communications solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering peers on incoming Unified Communications projects (phone, chat, conference) and will then architect, design, and implement Unified Collaboration environments. A successful candidate will provide Unified Collaboration engineering expertise on numerous concurrent projects. Our solutions require an understanding of complex environments, migration experience of on-premise to cloud applications, and call flows as well as a solid understanding of competitor platforms and emerging technologies in this space. Additional responsibilities will be, but not limited to: Develop technical and design documentation for voice infrastructure -MS Teams Voice, Cisco Voice. Utilize Voice and Networking experience to include VoIP -e.g. Cisco, Microsoft Teams- and traditional routing and switching platforms. In addition the ideal candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits: Team player with a can do attitude, Well-developed written and verbal communications skills, Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills,
Skills to confidently engage with the customer at all staff levels, Mentoring skills – Mentor and develop other engineers and architects.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in:
Expert Unified Collaboration architecture, to build from the ground up with all modules and components
Setting up the UC systems -core UC skills
Cisco Unified Communications Manager -CUCM- and IOS gateways

Preferred Qualifications:
Current certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent (CCNA, CWNA, CCNP, CWNP)
Basic knowledge of MS SQL
Strong scripting skills for optimizing and customizing the environment
Basic Project Management
UC and extracurricular components, writing reports, dialer experience
Cisco Voice Portal
Session Border Controllers -Cisco CUBE and AudioCodes Mediant
VMware and management
UC collaboration platforms for cloud hosted Azure, Hybrid
Avaya, Genesys, Microsoft Teams Telephony
Third party applications that integrate with UC
Data and workflows on a call center environment
