Roles & Responsibilities:

Quality

• Responsible for effective maintenance of Quality System of New Delhi Product Testing and Calibration Laboratories

• Independently and timely prepare Accreditation and Recognition Applications (NABL, BIS, SASO, TEC, IECEE CB Scheme, OSHA, ANSI, SCC, etc.)

• Support Quality Manager in quality, accreditation and process improvement.

• Assist Lab for internal and external audits.

• Preparation and coordination with Lab team for external audits

• Timely closure of all audit findings and customer complaints.

• Provide training and support Lab team on day-to-day quality and accreditation issues.

• On-time maintenance of Quality records.

• To perform report accuracy check to ensure reports issued are error free.

• Support lab for ILC and PT participation.

• Support other locations of Intertek as and when required.

Inspection

• Planning and execution of Follow Up Inspections at customer’s facility.

• Timely resolution of customer issues

• Inspection report maintenance

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Technical Certifications: Four days training on ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 from an institute of repute.

Experience:

• 7 to 9 years in handling quality and accreditation activities in a testing and calibration laboratory of high repute.

• Candidate must have hands on experience in NABL and BIS online application portal.

• Must have faced at least 6 to 8 external audits independently in a lead role.

Expertise at

• Independent handling of laboratory quality system

• Through knowledge and correct interpretation of requirements of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017

• Understanding NABL’s accreditation process and NABL web portal application requirements.

• Thorough knowledge and correct interpretation of BIS LRS Scheme 2020 and BIS LIMS Portal

• In depth knowledge of TEC and IECEE CB Scheme requirements and application process.

• Basic knowledge of electrical product testing is desirable.

• Should have exposure in performing inspection at customer facility or supplier assessment.
