A major part of our business is developing, maintaining and managing data rich business intelligence solutions for multiple clients. As part of this growing area we are recruiting a support member to work with our clients and coordinate internally to ensure timely updating of data and resolution of support issues. This role requires the candidate to be well organised, proficient in SQL Server, SSIS. Good to have Power BI/Microstrategy knowledge. And also, candidate should have good troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Main Activities:
• Provide service & support for data rich business intelligence (BI) solutions for multiple client environments
• Liaise with external clients and internal staff to ensure data processing, production & support issues are resolved; escalating to development team as required
• Assist in formulating & maintenance of data processing and quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to guidelines
• Perform ad-hoc database extraction & integration to support internal & external data requirements & projects
Competencies:
• Experience with databases and the SQL language essential – specifically SQL Server
• High levels of initiative, strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good skills with MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively manage multiple activities & tasks
Experience / Qualifications:
At least 2 years’ experience in Operations and Support for MS SQL database
Experience with Data Loading, SQL Troubleshooting, Dashboard Refreshing
Good to have SSIS knowledge
Good to know Power BI or Microstrategy reporting tool knowledge
Bachelor of Engineering/Technology preferably in Computer Science/IT or MCA
