Minimum 7 to 10 years of demonstrated experience of progressively increasing responsibilities in the area of software engineering:
Strong experience in the following areas
Server configuration (including architecture and design)
Security hardening (ex. permissions for users, managing capabilities for license types)
Software installation and managing upgrades.
Cognos-specific reporting capabilities.
Tuning of server performance ( Bounce –in, Bounce –off servers ) and Reports
Reports Scheduling & Retriggering of failed tasks
Troubleshooting report issues.
Content store Maintenance tasks
Good Knowledge of Cognos Analytics
Experience in Cognos server Migration from one version to another
Basic knowledge of PL/SQL, should be able to write basic Queries
Strong experience in Production support and monitoring

Non-technical Skills:
Excellent communication skills (Both Verbal / Written)Team player with a great attitudeshould be able to work as an Individual contributor.
