JOB Description for (Battery Designing Trainer/Project Engineer)

Position: Battery Designing Trainer/Project Engineer (for EV Training & Project Based Learning)

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech + M.Tech / B.Tech with relevant Experience

Minimum Experience: More than1 Year(working at E-mobility Training / Industry)

Location: Noida

Description: ISIEINDIA is looking Battery Designing Trainer/ Project Engineer with technical background for delivery of training; Project based learning and execution of ISIE-Centre of Excellence for Electric Mobility for Skill Development, Research and Innovation. (We are establishing 100+ COEs by 2023). Candidate must be passionate to deliver training programs with strong communication skills.

Roles & Responsibility:

· Preparing Course curriculum, Handbooks, Papers, Presentation, Manuals etc. For successful execution of training / Specialization Programs.

· Ensuring the end-to-end delivery of Lectures, Practical, Case Studies, Experiments and Projects as per curriculum of Programs and IPs.

· Cross functional collaboration with multiple engineering activities to meet program deliverables

· Define pack and cell requirements, and find the best options for product volume, weight and run time requirements.

· Mechanical integration of battery cells, electromechanical components and hardware.

· Develop test and validation plans for manufacturing and characterizing battery packs.

· Work with safety, reliability, operations and other cross functional partners to integrate the battery into the final system.

· Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.

· Responsible for delivery of Hands On session delivery , Project based learning.

· Ensuring quality, execution and feedback of programs.

· Conduction of workshop, Training, Internship program (Offline / Online) at various locations, apart from their centres.

· Resolving Technical Queries, Counselling and Orientation, Webinars for Fresh Admissions.

· Providing guidance and mentorship to candidates for their projects.

· Assist project manager in development and review of engineering drawings, specifications and other project deliverables.

· Mentor and support the engineering students/professionals for EV projects as per course curriculum.

· Ensure the timely processing of classes, projects, assignments, internship and placements.

· Follow up with concern engineering institutions on outcomes and track proposal success ratio.

· Deliver the expert lecture/talk on EV module & project.

Key Skills and Minimum Qualification:

· Deep fundamental knowledge in analysis and design of battery components for electric vehicle applications.

· Excellent understanding of cell characteristics and electrochemistry and its consequence on complete battery systems.

· Deep knowledge in working with experimental testing in cell and/or battery lab and data analysis.

· Good knowledge in regulative aspects in relation to battery systems for electric vehicles

· Excellent collaboration skills with a strong player mind-set

· Good experience related to Battery Safety.

· Knowledge of Li-ion cell chemistry and the various processes involved in manufacturing lithium ion battery packs.

· Experience with battery protection modules and safety standards.

· Experience in battery pack interconnection design, thermal management, and safety.

· Proficiency in conceptual and detailed mechanical design and extensive 3D CAD experience.

· Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes and/or automation is highly desirable.

· Experience with the full life cycle of product development processes.
