Position Specification – Assistant Manager – HR

Position

Assistant Manager HR (Sunrise – Kolkata)

Reports To –Manager HR

Role –

· HR Budgeting & Planning:

o Consolidate historical data under specific budgetary heads (compensation, benefits, administration etc.) as an input for budget preparation

o Prepare monthly reports for review of HR budget & cost tracking

o Provide support for the Annual Business planning – HR Plan

• Learning and Development:
• Conducting TNIs to understand the organization’s learning requirement
• Co-ordinate with various vendors to design training programs and modules
• Co-ordinate with FBD L&D team to extend the trainings/sessions to the Sunrise business
• Execution and implementation of learning & development initiatives through Instructor Led Programs, Modules on HRIS etc.

· Performance Management:

o Coordinate with managers for execution of appraisals

o Consolidate appraisal ratings in desired format

o Administering the Performance Appraisal cycle on time

o Assist HR Manager for formulating Remuneration Revision proposals

· Compensation:

o Coordinate workman compensation survey along with HR Manager as and when required

o Assisting HR Manager in anchoring compensation and benefits benchmarking for the spices industry

· HR Policy Design and Revision:

o Implementation of extended HR policies of ITC

o Drafting of policies and relevant SOPs for Sunrise business and subsequently implementing the same post the approval

· Employee Engagement:

o Coordinate and ensure timely implementation of the initiatives (iEngage & PULSE)

o Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken

o Ensure timely execution of Category Plan Cascade

· HR Systems & MIS:

o Assisting the system custodian for successful migration of HR systems (Success Factors, Drishti etc.) to the Sunrise business

· Employee Relations:

o Monitor the grievance redressal process across all factories

o Support HR Manager to create the event calendar for the unit and monitor participation of the workforce at all level

· Statutory Compliance:

o Monitor/ tracking statutory compliance tasks in GCMS Portal

o Have end to end knowledge of working on EPF, ESIC, PT portals

o Experienced in liaising with government authorities

Experience

7+ years of experience

Technical Knowledge

(Technical knowledge the person must have)

· Knowledge of labour laws/regulations

· Knowledge of HR operations (attendance, leave, contract labour management)

· Knowledge of HR Systems and Databases

· Knowledge of Human Resources Metrics

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate in HR/IR with minimum 7-8 years of HR related experience in manufacturing organization
