Job Description
Job Title: WordPress Developer
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs.
⦁ Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless UI/UX integration into WordPress websites.
⦁ Optimize websites for performance, speed.
⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites (bugs, security, etc.).
⦁ Ensure all websites are secure, fully functional, and up-to-date with the latest updates.
⦁ Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality websites.
⦁ Maintain and update existing websites to ensure ongoing improvements.
⦁ Use AI-powered tools to optimize site performance, and speed (e.g., AI-based image compression, automated content optimization, AI-driven performance analysis).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
⦁ Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
⦁ Experience with popular page builders like Elementor or WPBakery.
⦁ Solid understanding of theme and plugin development.
⦁ Knowledge of website optimization techniques (speed, mobile responsiveness).
⦁ Experience with web hosting platforms (e.g., cPanel, FTP).
⦁ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Familiarity with API integrations and working with third-party tools.
⦁ Basic experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Figma) is a plus.
⦁ Familiarity with wordPress for eCommerce sites.
⦁ Familiarity with AI-driven website accessibility tools to improve site accessibility.
⦁ Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Pingdom),especially those using AI to analyze and suggest improvements.
