Job Description

Job location – Goregoan/Vasai Qualification: Min M.E/M.tech (Struct) or equivalent Position requires thorough knowledge of steel structural design & engineering techniques. Layout Planning, Design optimisation, Standardisation & codification of parts, perform rolled & structural steel calculations as per IS & international codes, to assign draftsman & Jr. engineers team to prepare production and other drawings,Bom etc. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgement in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts & graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices. Candidate will be fully responsible for all structural design, checking & releasing of drawings to production dept, installation team, etc. Prepare & approve BOM’s. New Product development. Resolve any technical queries raised by clients. Cost estimation, etc. Direct and supervise other designers/drafters activities. Handle routine department administration. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents. Organize draft and coordinate technical documents. Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment. Software Skills: Creo 3.0, Staad, Autocad 2D & 3D, MS office etc Min Exp: 10-12 years in structural &/or Machine design. Age group: above 45 years.
