DESCRIPTION:
8-10 year experience of retail industry preferably in apparels, last three year as Showroom /Floor Manager.He should have proven track record, ability to lead and motivate team .He will be responsible for smooth operation and implementation of SOP.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
2. Prepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions
3. Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
4. Maintaining inventories.
5. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends
6. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios
7. Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
8. To do Employee Management for smooth running of store on daily basis.
9. Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers
10. Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
11. Work with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows
12. Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable
13. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
14. Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales
15. Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning
