Role Description:
Due to a recent expansion within the HR team, we are recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Administration professional to work from our Mumbai, India office.
The successful candidate will be part of the Global Payroll & Benefits team, covering the full suite of Payroll and Benefits activities. You will play a key role in supporting the Payroll & Benefits team in managing various processes relating to the full scope of salary, pension and benefits for EMEA & APAC.
The role will involve working closely with HR colleagues in Europe, Asia and the US. The candidates’ duties will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for managing the shared mailboxes on a daily basis
Liaising with the HR team and the wider business and serving as point of contact for employee payroll and benefits queries and requests
Preparing employment references for current & former employees
Maintaining and updating employment records (maternity, paternity, absences)
Confirming remaining annual leave balance / calculating annual leave balance for leavers
Running periodical and adhoc reports from the HR system
Support with the collation of payroll data for monthly payroll input
Assisting with payroll month end & year end tasks
Support the benefits team during the annual enrolment project for UK benefits, including system testing (UAT)
Time management administration for Europe payroll requirements
Identify and develop data sets to support the reporting capabilities of the payroll & benefits team
Processing invoices for approval and updating of the invoice tracker to monitor benefits spend
Support payroll & benefits team with adhoc tasks and projects when required
Qualifications
Excellent written and spoken English
High level of attention to detail with strong numeracy and analytical skills
Comfortable following instructions in how to complete tasks, and writing own instructions when needed
Strong analytic skills and an advanced user of Excel
Proactive, problem-solver as well as taking ownership of initiatives and driving them forward
Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are a prerequisite
Comfortable juggling competing priorities and managing stakeholder expectations
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and proactively contribute ideas, views and recommendations
A professional and adaptable approach and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information using discretion
Eagerness to learn and build experience in payroll & benefits
