Position Summary

The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) at O.P. Jindal Global University invites applications for faculty positions in Economics and Public Policy with specialization in the fields of corporate policy, data science, experimental economics, financial economics, law and economics, and science and technology policy. The appointment will be at the Associate/Assistant Professor level.

Roles And Responsibilities

Faculty members will be expected to follow the below roles and responsibilities.

• Teaching and Advising: The primary responsibility of this position is to teach and advise university students in Economics and Public Policy.
• Research: The role also involves conducting high-quality research focused on innovations in Economics and Public Policy.
• Academic Administration: Additionally, successful candidates will contribute to academic administration tasks related to their field.
• Teaching Load: Appointees will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate students both in residential and online programs. The teaching load will be commensurate with the appointment.
• Basic Qualification**(Required at the time of Application)
• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Public Policy or Economics.
• Relevant Teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate levels.
• Experience in undertaking high-quality independent research and its dissemination in peer-reviewed journal articles, manuscripts, working papers, policy briefs, among others.
