Job Title: Boutique Executive
:
As a Boutique Executive in a 5-star hotel, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the operations of the hotel’s boutique or luxury retail store. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and creating a unique and memorable shopping experience for guests. Your passion for fashion, strong business acumen, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of the boutique and the overall guest satisfaction of the hotel.
Responsibilities:
1. Retail Operations Management:
– Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s boutique, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
– Ensure that the boutique is well-stocked with a variety of products, including clothing, accessories, and other luxury items.
– Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
– Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
2. Customer Service:
– Provide exceptional customer service and personalized shopping experiences to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries, offering styling advice, and handling any concerns or complaints.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering a loyal customer base through effective communication and personalized follow-up.
3. Product Knowledge and Brand Awareness:
– Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, designers, and luxury brands carried in the boutique.
– Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the products, including features, benefits, and materials, to effectively assist customers and make recommendations.
– Promote brand awareness and actively engage guests in discussions about the boutique’s offerings and unique selling points.
4. Visual Merchandising:
– Ensure that the boutique’s displays and visual merchandising are attractive, well-maintained, and aligned with the hotel’s brand standards.
– Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to design and execute visually appealing displays and promotional setups.
– Regularly review and refresh merchandise displays to create an engaging and enticing shopping environment.
5. Inventory Management:
– Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and maintain accurate records of stock movements and sales.
– Place orders for new merchandise, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal trends, and budgetary guidelines.
– Coordinate with suppliers and the hotel’s procurement team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any supply chain issues.
6. Reporting and Administration:
– Prepare sales reports, including daily sales, inventory levels, and product performance, for management review.
– Assist with financial administration tasks, such as reconciling cash registers, processing sales transactions, and handling cash and credit card payments.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer information, sales transactions, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
– Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury boutique or high-end retail environment.
– Strong sales and customer service skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
– Passion for fashion, trends, and luxury brands, with a keen eye for styling and visual merchandising.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
– Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
– Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
