About the Team: This is a part of our CPD Service Team. What You Will Be Doing: – We are looking for an iSeries Administrator. – This position requires working during US business hours (night shift) from 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST. – It is a pure production support role and does not involve development. – Location: Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai. What You Will Bring: – Must have 5+ years of experience in production support for iSeries/AS400 operations and administration. – Experience in managing IBM i running on Power Systems servers. – Experience in operating, administering, and securing applications on IBM i OS platforms (IBM i 7.4+). – Experience in administering and maintaining Apache server services on IBM i OS. – Experience with full system restore. – Experience in managing partitioned systems (LPARs). – Strong experience in using journaling, especially remote journaling, tracing, and packet captures on IBM i and Unix. – Understanding of the differences between independent ASPs, SYSBAS, and traditional ASPs. – Understanding of the functional differences between logical replication and clustering. – Keeping up with software and technology refreshes. – Experience with virtualized I/O (i hosting i, VIOS). – Experience with TLS/SSL protocols, ciphers/algorithms, certificate and encryption management, and methodologies. – HORIZON core experience is a plus, but not required.
