About the team

Global Transfer Agency Services is a group of highly talented and motivated individuals who strive for providing best products for Mutual Fund Transfer Agents. Team at Pune and Hyderabad location is focused working on US, Canada and International TA systems.

What you will be doing

This position is for IT Architect for Global Transfer Agency Services team. You would be required to work with business stake holders, technical / product engineering teams, and senior management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

Examining and defining current architecture systems.

Designing scalable, high-performance architecture. Identify design flaws and system bottlenecks.

Assisting the development team to review their design, code and give solutions to technically complex problems.

Troubleshooting complex, high priority production issues.

Work on technical design specifications as per FIS guidelines.

Guide and mentor junior team members.

Produce clean, efficient code when required based on specifications.

Integrate software components and third-party programs.

Verify and deploy programs and systems.

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Recommend and execute performance and design improvements.

Create technical documentation as required.

What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience

15+ years of experience in Java, J2EE applications.

5+ years of experience working as technical architect OR senior technical lead.

Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular / Type Script, Ansible, Jenkins.

Regarded as an expert in Java full stack technologies.

Good understanding of Cloud concepts, Microservices and DevOPS.

Strong in OOPS concepts, DBMS Concepts, Design / Architecture abilities and troubleshooting skills.

Good understanding of how to design scalable, high-performance systems.

Good understanding of secure design guidelines.

Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to contribute to multiple projects.

Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.

Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.

Degree or equivalent

Fluent in English

Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion

Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation

Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
