Job summary

As a Information Security Management at JPMorgan Chase, in the CYBERSECURITY & TECH CONTROLS Team which is aligned GT CONTROLS OFFICE Technology Team you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.

Job responsibilities

The candidate will leverage their strong analytical and communication skills to successfully establish and mature those relationships and partner with each lead to understand their resource needs, both forecasted and ad hoc.

They will work within the Workload Management framework to best meet those needs with available resource capacity. Additional tasks will include generating standardized reports on a regular basis to convey the assessment team’s overall capacity versus demand to management while also assisting in streamlining existing processes to reconcile contractor hours billed against actuals

Knowledge of Tableau or any other similar reporting platform to support the Assessment Metrics/Reporting Team in providing oversight for the Control and Regulatory Assessment Programs by identifying and driving improvements to execution processes, compliance KPIs and risk reporting/Dashboards

Perform Quality Control reviews of control testing working papers.

Participate in additional key control projects related to enhancement of the Compliance and other assessment programs.

Support internal education and best practices sharing with peers and colleagues, as well as information security education & awareness, as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology risk management

Experience in technology assessment and control testing.

Be detail oriented with ability to evaluate processes, controls, and issues to determine the risks.

Have an ability to maintain high standards with a drive to achieve the right answer in difficult and/or ever-changing situations.

Can work independently, collaborate within a team and is comfortable in a virtual environment.· Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead discussions and meetings with internal management, external/ internal audit, and peer groups.

Strong interpersonal skills – verbal communications, written communications, and a good track record of collaboration.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS certification will be an added advantage.

Proficient in MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm’s cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group’s number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.

High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
