Job summary:

The candidate will have to providing service and clearing services in a 24 X 5 environment, supporting Global Trade Operations encompassing multiple markets across APAC.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures deliverables are met / Signs off are completed as per agreed SLA
• Ensure the SOP are completed in all aspects, followed and controls are adhered
• Perform and/or oversight of day to day operation of trade transactions such as – LCs, BGs, SBLC, Trade Loan, Pre& Post shipment Finance, Trade Credit, Export and Import, EDF waiver etc. as well as managing adhoc functions like reconciliations, break research and resolution, client follow ups, various Regulatory reporting, sampling process.
• Overall responsibility for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of processing
• Review daily/monthly work process, including daily and monthly checklists and see that all tasks are completed
• Streamline processes wherever needed
• Contribute to the projects wherever needed locally or globally
• Implementation of new processes to be on-boarded
• Cross team training
• Effectively communicating instructions and timely escalations
• Attend regular group meetings with the Group Managers to ensure constant communication and feedback
• Responsible for ensuring a standardized and efficient process

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Post graduate in any discipline
• Working/Expert knowledge of various aspects of International Trade rules, FEMA, RBI MD
• Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFT& international payment conventions& practices is a must.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally& externally and at all levels.
• Excellent written& oral communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business.
• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through.
• Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues.
• An acute client focus.
• Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills.
