JPMorgan Chase & Co. Looking For Regulatory Reporting – Business Analysis – Associate at Bengaluru, Karnataka, Full Time

Regulatory Operations CoE caters to private clients globally with offices in the US, Europe and Asia. The team is part of the Asset& Wealth Management Lines of Business and works closely with clients and our onshore partners, on clients’ and regulators’ various reporting needs across various frequencies (daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual), delivers automation using various Intelligent Automation (IA) tools, and provides adhoc support to various data requirements from the business.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for covering all aspects of Business Analysis including analyzing, designing, solutioning etc. across the Regulatory reporting space. This will involve producing quality documents, testing and connecting with stakeholders. This role also provides a breadth and depth of visibility across the Asset and Wealth Management function with extensive cross functional and cross business exposure, along with the opportunity to creatively problem solve on a broad scale. This is a techno-functional role. It is based in India and is a part of a regulatory team. Candidate will partner extensively with the Lines of businesses, Legal, Compliance, Audit and Technology groups.

• Experience in Regulatory/ Management Information Reporting
• Provide oversight on reporting issues, ensuring that root causes are understood and remediation plans in place
• Conduct trainings and roadshow and Facilitate and lead periodic calls with cross line of business, cross regional stakeholders
• Conduct deep dive on aspects of the Regulatory Reporting environment and plan and report status of ongoing projects and tasks to senior management. Work on the execution of activities within the Operations Regulatory Reporting space
• Drive change management projects and new reporting requirements independently
• Ensure all process& other supporting documents [SOP’s, FSLA’s, Service Requests (IAS charters)] are maintained up-to-date and all escalations are done on a timely basis.
• Maintain a high rate of accuracy and ensure SLA’s are met
• Ensure accurate and timely resolutions of all queries
• Facilitate and lead periodic calls with cross line of business, cross regional stakeholders
• Conduct deep dive on aspects of the Regulatory Reporting environment
• Plan and report status of ongoing projects and tasks to senior management.
• Identify, mitigate and resolve risk and issues across teams, ensuring escalations to the right levels where required
• Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, facilitate decision-making by providing right level of information and timely escalation when required.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

• Minimum 12 years of financial services experience with exposure / involvement in one or more of the following areas: Private Banking, reporting, intelligent automation, process improvement
• Minimum 8+ years as Business Analyst in Regulatory Reporting space
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, high quality institution
• Working knowledge of various IA tool such as Alteryx, Python, UIPath, Tableau, etc.
• Strong Data Analytical skills
• Strong Regulatory/Financial services / Business consultancy background
• Demonstrated track record of setting and achieving challenging goals
• Demonstrated Business Analysis delivery in Regulatory Reporting Landscape
• Significant knowledge of operational processes and controls etc.
• Prior experience in Private Banking, Regulatory Reporting, Intelligent Automation or Process Improvement would be beneficial
• Good understanding of the regulatory environment
• Good Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all stages of the analytical project lifecycle from data exploration to development, testing, and deployment.
• Knowledge of Scrum framework and experience working with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence
