JPMorgan Chase & Co. Looking For Vice President, Business Resiliency at Mumbai, Maharashtra, Full Time

The goal of the Location Business Resiliency Team is to ensure business resiliency oversight for the locations. Business resiliency focuses on ensuring key business processes, systems, and support functions in the event of disruptive events.

Role Summary

The Vice President will primarily be responsible for key deliverables relating to running of the business resiliency program India Location. This role is responsible for ensuring the Resiliency agenda is run consistently and effectively in partnership with the LoB/Corporate Functions Resiliency teams and the CAO team to ensure adequate governance is in place. This role will also works with the CAO and other Corporate Functions such as Global Security, Global Real Estate etc to ensure location level preparedness. The role will have extended responsibilities to support India and Philippines locations for Business Resiliency. This role, in partnership with Global Security and Crisis Management, is responsible for coordinating during any incidents, outages or any other threats that may impact continuity of operations in the Philippines. The role will also have responsibilities to drive the Quality assurance team

Key Responsibilities

• Running a robust resiliency agenda in line with the firm’s Business Resiliency Policy and Standards
• Role will also require to drive the Quality Assurance execution and reporting, and to help build out and scale this new function over time.
• Stakeholder management including Location leaders, LoBs, Corporate Functions and Support groups
• Act in an advisory capacity for LoBs and Corporate Functions, as well as location leadership with respect to the policy and standards, programs, resiliency tools and metrics
• Governance through publishing and monitoring of metrics and ensuring adequate follow ups and due diligence on any non-adherence
• Co-ordinating efforts during a crisis or incident, by being a centre point between LoBs, Corporate Functions and Support groups
• Co-ordinate and support Regulatory queries and requirement from a Business Resiliency standpoint
• Provide inputs or front-end Regulatory requirements from a Resiliency/BCP viewpoint
• Evaluate opportunities and areas that need focus to enhance the resiliency posture of the Corporate Centers, Philippines
• Represent Business Resiliency in the necessary forums, committees, and meetings
• Work closely with the counterpart in the team as well as Global counterparts
• Support the implementation and execution of the business resiliency Quality Assurance program, maintaining compliance with the Quality Assurance standards and best practices and driving consistency in reviews.
• Development of reporting capabilities in support of the quality assurance program, driving use of new solutions and technologies. Tracking and documentation of thematic observations, and identification of key risk trends.

Skills Required

• Strong working knowledge of Resiliency and Business Continuity
• Excellent partnership skills and stakeholder management abilities. The incumbent should be able to work and influence across diverse teams locally and globally
• Ability to manage calmly during high pressure and crisis/incidents
• Ability to work in a matrix organization set up
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities. The incumbent should demonstrate thought leadership.

Experience Required

• Strong in Analytics, Intelligent automations and solutions and reporting functionality
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Resiliency/BCP or related domain, with an overall experience of minimum 12 years. The last few years should have been in an independent, manager capacity overseeing Resiliency for a business unit, location or a small to mid-sized firm.
• Familiarity with industry resiliency models, BIAs, Resiliency tools and plan structure
