Job Description

The Data Maintenance Team is responsible for timely and accurate completion of Internal reference static data setup and maintenance across all business functions under Commercial Banking.The Ops Analyst will be responsible for reviewing all incoming requests for data maintenance and ensuring all data is complete and accurate. The Analyst will be expected to understand the Internal Data Structure and all related Tools to perform their daily tasks smoothly with high efficiency. Excellent communication skills (verbal as well as written) are key as they work with the bankers/requestors to collect all required information.Primary Responsibilities

• Review and complete all assigned tasks as per committed time, in an accurate and client specific manner
• Raise any discrepancies in banker supplied data with the Manager/Supervisor for appropriate clarification
• Keep Manager/Supervisor proactively informed of any delay in delivering tasks over internal committed time
• Learn and develop expertise to work on all internal and party tools to complete daily influx of requests from bankers
• Need to have high accuracy levels and eye for details. The work involves handling volumes and deadlines and expects flexibility as and when required
• Flexibility and adaptability towards short deadline projects and ability to switch between multiple projects without any difficulties
• Self-driven and motivated to develop the understanding of query tools (such as SQL, Athena, etc.) to seek opportunities to enhance the client experience
• Partners as needed with key operational site management, direct management, and support teams to improve training and quality
• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
• Relationship Management
  • Communicate with internal business partners on a frequent basis
  • Manage business partner expectations and build a good rapport

Qualifications/Eligibility

• Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline strongly preferred
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in a comparable role with a proven history of delivering timely, high quality work
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, prioritizing multiple projects
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with attention to detail
• Problem Solving can identify quality issues and utilize business knowledge to identify the root cause of issues and propose solutions
• Technical Knowledge proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel; as well as internal systems and tools. Should have a good understanding of Query Tools
• Process Documentation demonstrates a strong ability to learn, apply and document a series of steps, rules, or guidelines needed to perform a specific task or responsibility
• Interpersonal Skills ability to operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment, working effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization
