JPMorganChase Looking For Business Management – Mergers and Acquisition – Analyst at Mumbai, Maharashtra, Full Time

The Centralized Research Group (CRG) is part of CIB R&A covering Banking globally. It works closely with the firm’s Investment Banking (IB), Commercial Banking (CB) and Global Corporate Banking (GCB) teams offering customized financial solutions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity / Debt capital raising, Credit, Treasury, Cash Management, Trade, and Markets, among others.

This role is focused on Business Management (BM) for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A); You will work closely with senior bankers in the M&A BM team in NY in doing analysis / presentations to provide insights for the senior management in M&A – track the M&A markets, new deals in market / pipeline, league tables, slice and dice the data across M&A data to understand underlying themes, help on various initiatives for the senior management.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly materials for the team, consisting of various trends and key deals in the period, etc.
• Preparing league tables, credentials and other standard pages
• Analyze financial and business performance and provide key insights to senior management
• Provide a high level of responsiveness to ad-hoc requests that address the needs of senior management
• Working on preparing themes, based on research and other specific research requirements as required
• Assist on various MIS and internal initiatives and come up with creative solutions that address the needs of senior management
• Fee / wallet analysis – provide key insights on fees from deals announced / in pipeline
• Maintaining key knowledge management databases for ready to use slides / data in marketing materials

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
• Excellent academic record
• Knowledge of Dealogic database
• Basic understanding of Investment Banking / M&A markets with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact with senior professionals / key stakeholders and ability to operate in a lean team structure
• Proactive, highly organized with strong attention to details
• Ability to multitask several projects, have a keen eye for detail and deliver quality under pressure
• Ability to adapt to non-standard requests independently with minimal guidance and manage time when faced with multiple urgent tasks
• Ability to find / source information from different sources and work on large amount of data
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Relevant work experience in BM, M&A, Banking domain
