JSW Sports Pvt Ltd Hiring for Shift Engineer at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India Full Time

• Manage mechanical breakdowns, repairs and maintenance activities for respective areas in the shift and ensure minimal downtime
• Responsible for conducting mechanical checks as per the checklist and to ensure that all parts, equipment are functioning as per specifications.
• Participate in improvement initiatives, safety initiatives and cost reduction projects.
• Supervise a team of Technicians

Critical Tasks

• Provide timely breakdown maintenance services at respective areas, identify and rectify faults ensuring minimum downtime to production in the shift
• Review the log sheet from earlier shift, diagnose problems that are unresolved, prioritize as per criticality to production
• Ensure repair and reinstallation of equipment within committed timelines, communicate to stakeholders in advance in case of anticipated delays in completion of maintenance activities
• Conduct PDCA analysis and prepare reports for mechanical breakdowns in the shift.
• Ensure that all problems arising in the shift are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Prepare timely documentation such as DRM, log book, checklist, safety observations etc.
• Track machinery / equipment down time due to non-availability of spares for better planning and procurement of spares
• Update mechanical maintenance checklist periodically, on the basis of breakdowns / faults observed analysis
• Provide inputs for preparing preventive and planned maintenance schedule for the respective areas based on the routine checks conducted.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment for performance issues / likely break downs for preventive maintenance and escalate issues as necessary
