JSW Steel Hiring for Manager Operations at Raigad, Maharashtra, India Full Time

Position: Manager – TMT Cut and Bend Operations.

Qualifications:

B.E. + MBA with ~10 years of experience in operations / commercial / planning

Job Location: Dolvi Plant, Maharashtra.

Experience in steel industry mandatory .

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Co-ordinate with the corporate / regional / area sales team for setting of sales targets.

2. Co-ordinate with the regional supply-chain team and the supply-chain teams at the contract manufacturer premises to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

3. MIS reporting (on a daily / weekly / monthly basis) of sales / dispatch.

4. MIS reporting of stocks at contract manufacturer’s premises.

5. Co-ordinate with the regional finance team & Manager – Operations, TMT Contract Manufacturing Business (at the contract manufacturer premise) for contract manufacturer billing (sale of finished goods from contract manufacturer to JSW Steel).

6. Identify new contract manufacturing opportunities (in Eastern and North-East states of India) and facilitate contract manufacturing arrangements.

7. Co-ordinate with the contract manufacturer to get approvals for supplying the finished goods to small projects (done through distributors).

8. Ensure that the contract manufacturers are performing their obligations as per the contract.

9. Ensure implementation of annual / monthly sales business plan in co-ordination with the Regional Sales Manager (already in place) and Area Sales Managers.

10. Ensure legal / statutory compliances.

11. Fix transportation / warehousing contracts as per business requirement in East.

12. Oversight of all the contract manufacturing operations in East and trigger all improvement initiatives in operations and control as necessary.
