Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: ¿ Synthesis, purification and characterization of chemical intermediates. ¿ Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery. ¿ Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward. Qualification: ¿ M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field or M. Pharma (Specialised in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years’ project experience. Technical and Functional Skills: ¿ Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanism. ¿ Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformation. ¿ Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency. ¿ Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification and extraction. ¿ Good understanding of NMR, IR and mass spectrometry. Behavioural Skills ¿ Interest to adapt and knowledge of laboratory safety practices. ¿ Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment. ¿ Basic computer knowledge (MS-Word/Excel/Power point/Chemdraw) ¿ Good Soft & Scientific Communication skills
