Education    
Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile

Experience    
10 -15 years of basic and detail engineering experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry.

Candidates having an experience from Reputed Engineering Consulting Companies preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas. Experience with Clients viz. Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil, ADNOC etc. is preferred.

Job Knowledge    

• International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices 
• Proficiency in design and detailed engineering of Rotating Equipment and Packages
• Proficiency with API codes is mandatory
• Sound understanding of rotodynamic and aerodynamic analysis of equipment
• Sound understanding in equipment selection along with auxiliaries
• Mechanical work flow and interdisciplinary co-ordination
• Project management and control procedures
• Project Mechanical Deliverables
• Project Risk Assessment
• Adherence to HSE norms

Work Assignments

• Expertise in Oil & Gas key Rotating Equipment such as but not limited to:

• Centrifugal Pumps,
• Positive Displacement Pumps
• Centrifugal Compressors
• Reciprocating Compressors
• Pressure Feed Lube Oil systems
• Mechanical Seals, Couplings and Gearbox
• Mixers, Fans, Blowers, Motors

Knowledge in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, I.C. engines is an added advantage.
 

• Expertise in Oil & Gas key Packages such as but not limited to:
• Plant / Instrument Air Generation Package
• Nitrogen Generation Package
• Water Treatment Packages
• Steam Generation Package
• Flare Package
• Detailed engineering of process packages is an added advantage.
• Preparation of key deliverables for projects such as:
• Design Basis
• Equipment Type Selection ReportTechnical Specification / DatasheetsMaterial Requisition / Purchase Requisitions
• Technical Bid Analysis with Report
• Vendor Document Review Note
• Equipment List

Prepare man hour estimate and support project proposals

• Perform inter-discipline squad checks
• Value Engineering & Optimization
• Achieve Project Productivity and Schedule
• Guide and mentor engineers.

Software Tools: Microsoft Office
