KPMG Hiring for Associate 2 – Business License at Bangalore Full Time

The position in discussion is with the Sales and Use Tax team in Indirect Tax practice at KGS. The individual would be reporting into the Assistant manager / Manager within Tax – Indirect Tax practice at KGS. This team is a part of Indirect Tax – Specialty Services core Service Delivery business unit of KPMG Global Services.

Roles and Responsibilities

The position in discussion is with the Specialty Services team in Indirect Tax Service line at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:

• Prepare Indirect Tax returns for KPMG US clients.
• Work on multiple client engagements to collect date and update the compliance management systems for indirect tax.
• Researching state and local indirect tax legislation and assisting with drafting client responses and memo preparation.
• Assisting with billing preparation and account reconciliation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline work flow

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ year of experience in relevant field
• Ability to analyze basic tax and accounting information
