Your Role and Responsibilities

• Hybrid role with the MFT platform which requires development and operational experience and expertise
• Upkeep, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of MFT platforms (does include on-call responsibilities)
• Build automations which are deemed necessary for improving security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for MFT platform.
• Collaborative and self-starting with a focus on improving operations
• Identify delays or bottlenecks using proprietary and vendor tools and resolve or escalate.
• Communication focused, able to work in a team-based environment and communicate to share knowledge and assist the team.
• Must be flexible to work in 24×7 shifts and able to work on a on call rotation when needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3 + years of scripting experience with some of the following: Unix, shell and Python
• 3+ years in handling issues w.r.t transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, SSH, Http/s.
• 3+ Professional experience in application designing, developing, deploying with MFT Products
• 3+ professional knowledge with any one or more products like Secure Transport, Transfer CFT , Interchange, Sterling Integrator, IBM Connect Direct etc
• General Infrastructure knowledge of high availability, Disaster recovery, and general data centre concepts
• Sound understanding of PGP encryption, SSH Keys, SSL Certificates

• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
• Constructs an effective team structure that allows individuals and teams to succeed.
• Stay abreast with the latest technologies and then apply them in relevant products
• Interest and ability to influence all areas of software development
