Your Role and Responsibilities

System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients.
As a System Admin, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network.
Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data
The VMWare and Windows Administrator will be part of a team, providing implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our client environments.
The administrator will be responsible for working with members of our Technical Delivery Teams and Architecture teams to support and improve the delivery of managed services. Must deploy servers, support day to day system performance, prevent data loss, and unauthorized access.
For a better deliverable among multiple teams Agile practices are used to assign, control and measure your activities due to a self-directed team.
Soft skill, time management, upskilling and teamwork are fundamental for your work deliverables and career path.
Use your leadership skills to manage internal projects with multiple teams. Team members will be in a located across the globe.
Lead and participate in projects demonstrating experience in Infrastructure environment
Your expertise consists in technical discussion with Infrastructure Architect, Security and Project teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Build and Configure ESXi, Vcentre, Vsphere and VMs. Build & configure Windows VMs. Configure backups.
Regular patch management. Upgrade of OS version. Extensive OS (VMWare & Windows) troubleshooting knowledge.
Perform Capacity managedment.
Work with Storage Technical support for required disk capacity management.
Maintaining all type of IBM and Lenovo xSeries hardware, Hardware troubleshooting and firmware upgrade knowledge.
Minimum of 5 years of Production Support experience in a large enterprise.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Participation on Major/Severity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents.
