Your Role and Responsibilities

As Wintel specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support for Windows/VMware Servers with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• • Minimum 4+ years in Wintel/VMware – Configure and upgrade of linux systems and servers • Should have strong OS administration skills on Windows • Demonstrable experience in Server Support, designing, troubleshooting and storage implementation • Configuration management tools • Proven analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills.• Familiar with the configuration and maintenance of server and network hardware and peripherals • Hands-on experience of system management, system setup and servers as well as configuring them

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• In-depth knowledge and experience on VMware vCenter and ESXi ( 6.5 .6.7,0) hypervisors installation and administration & Power Cli Scripting .· In depth troubleshooting skills in vCenter, ESXi hosts, Networking and storage (SAN , ISCSI , VSAN).· Capacity planning skill for virtual hosts and VMs.· Experience on planning, deploying and maintain VMware vSphere environments.· P2V and V2V conversion skills.· Experience to handle major severity and complex VMware issues.· Drive RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes/etc.· Perform in 24×7 environment in shift roaster and attend calls whenever assigned.· Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes.· Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems.· Administration & troubleshooting skills on Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019.· Participation on Major/Severity incidents for resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for the Major incidents.· Good Knowledge how to create new reports/dashboard in vRealize Operations Manager & troubleshooting skills.· Good Knowledge VMware Site Recovery
