Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• You will be working with application development teams and Application production

• support teams to provide subject matter expertise to maintain the existing infrastructure and to recommend best practices for the supported infrastructure.

• You will also be helping application development teams to optimize queries and thus helping in performance.

Responsibilities:

• Db2 LUW (for Linux/Unix/Windows) DBA.

• Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, and Migration.

• Working with cloud pure scale database and maintaining it.

• Working on automation of dba activities.

• Conceptualize and verbalize the benefits of technology in solving real business problems.

• Mentor developers to help them solve problems and grow, especially as it relates to the database.

• Create, communicate, and maintain best practices and coding standards for team.

• Work with multiple technologies and in projects with high complexity.

• Database Security.

• Work to consistently improve internal processes.

• Storage and Capacity Planning.

• Backup and Recovery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience on DB2 UDB Enterprise Server Edition.

• PMR team and the Labs to determine the best solutions for a business.

• Strong Organizational abilities – able to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously Coordinating with IT professionals.

• Leadership Skills Ability to adapt to change.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Addressing the capacity requirements of the customer requirement well in advance with proper road maps.

• Implement Infrastructure for the DB2 Systems especially with Power HA Clusters, TSA and HADR systems Manage Capacity.

• Admin role for minimum 5 years with the latest versions Manage.

• Advanced Enterprise Server Edition of all the Versions at least 5 years Experienced in DB2 LUW.

Required Education Bachelor’s Degree
