Your Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with multiple teams including hand-offs between tasks

• Proactively escalating any questions, concerns, or issues that are encountered

• Working in a team environment to solve problems collaboratively

• Ensuring that all changes get properly logged, approved, and updated according to Rotary’s change and release management processes.

• Showing attention to detail

• Working well under pressure

• Giving and receiving constructive feedback

• Managing multiple concurrent tasks

• Asking questions to gain understanding

• Working with vendors if necessary

• Working US hours.

• Early morning (CST) maintenance window support during the workweek.

• Weekend maintenance window support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years of SQL Server Database Administration Experience

• Experience of SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2019

• Knowledge on Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019

• Worked on database upgrade projects

• Prompt post-implementation issue resolution

• Experience building and executing run books for IT maintenance work

• Strong technical and business analysis skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Ability to balance multiple upgrades simultaneously for example planning one upgrade while executing another or starting a lower environment upgrade for one application while a production upgrade is still pending for a different application.

• Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational skills

Required Education Bachelor’s Degree
