Hands-on expertise on Dell EMC Avamar, Networker, Rubrik, Commvault Galaxy/ Simpana
Sound experience with Tape and Disk Library Management
Understanding DR backup and restore- scenarios and procedures
Understanding and configuring multiple offsite backup copies, aux copies
Configure reports and analysis of reports
Understanding of concepts like Deduplication, Encryption, Compression, Replication, Global Filters, Operations Window, Restore by Jobs
Understanding backup requirements of the customer and performing configurations accordingly
Sound knowledge and practical approach towards ITIL concepts, especially, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
Ability to collaborate with platform teams, customers and vendors to solve backup issues, find single point of failures and eliminate design issues
Education: Any Graduate
