Your Role and Responsibilities
Handle complex incidents and problems, and provide support and technical expertise to your colleagues and the client,
• Automating day to day tasks, reduction of toil,
• Take part in designing solutions and in determining configuration and administration rules and parameters with the Service Line & Sales Managers,
• Participate in the setup and migration of VMWare and Microsoft projects,
• Setup of the operational dashboards and reporting,
• Write technical documents, operational procedures, and DR plans,
• Contribute to the ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Availability, Capacity, Change, and Configuration Management,
• May draw up a capacity planning schedule and keep it up to date,
• Perform technical life cycle, and reviews new solutions,
• Automation development for Customer’s need related to Security Vulnerabilities Solving.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
VMware vSphere, VMware Configuration Manager, update manager, etc.VSphere 5,6 and 7, Expert knowledge of VMWare HA, DRS, VCenter, zoning, masking, virtual networking, etc. and should have high level of troubleshooting skills.
Expert knowledge on Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 and should have high level of troubleshooting skills.
Expert knowledge in MS Cluster and Veritas Cluster Technology.
Firmware and driver’s management for Windows servers.
RAID Configurations and Disk management utilities tools.
Knowledge of ITIL Processes ITIL V3 Foundation (beneficial) or comparable knowledge
Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
Veritas – Basic knowledge of Veritas Storage foundation and Veritas clusters and Veritas Volume replication
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Windows Server Operating Systems and Virtualization experience (VMware or HyperV or XenServer),
Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Servers,
Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting,
Good understanding of backup/recovery and other business continuity services,
Good understanding of alerting and monitoring,
Good understanding of architecture, security, and performance tuning,
Knowledge of Directory Services Administration (Active Directory, LDAP),
Microsoft Certifications.
