Kyndryl, Inc. Hiring for Systems Administrator: UNIX Operating Systems AIX at Hyderabad, India Full Time

Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for installing, managing and upgrading UNIX/LINUX based systems and servers. They are responsible for the maintenance, configuration and operations of Linux Systems. The system administrator seeks to ensure that the performance, reliability and security of the systems is maintained. maintaining the system with patches and upgrades, and security of the systems, ensuring system backup are configured and working. To accomplish this the systems administrator installs software, software upgrades and patches, provides routine automation; maintains security policies; troubleshoots; and provides technical support.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 3 + Years of experience in AIX v6.x and v7.x Administration, Installation, Configuration, upgradation, and troubleshooting.

• Proven knowledge on the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with AIX Operating Systems (Hardware and Software).

• Deep understanding of LVM and Storage Technologies associated with Power Virtual I/O Server, AIX, and PowerHA Clusters.

• Administration, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of PowerHA clusters

• Administration, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Virtual I/O Server.

• Administration, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of NIM

• Deep understanding of LVM and Storage Technologies associated with Power Virtual I/O Server, AIX, and PowerHA Clusters.

• Handle day-to-day issues and the environment, that includes (Backup, configuration, monitoring etc.)

• Understanding of SAN technologies.

• Proficient in AIX patching and recovery.
