Your Role and Responsibilities

As WAS SME, you are responsible for installing, upgrading and configuring WAS, IHS and related tools across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and application of patches on WAS running system. You should be able to support BAU responsibilities ensuring the up & running of application(s) 24 x 7, Monitoring Service now incidents and leading them to resolution, follow change management procedures, assisting in problem management and providing RCA inputs.Should be able to Install, migration, Patching , troubleshoot on multiple middleware sub-system, WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5, 9.0, WMQ all latest version, Strong debugging and problem solving skills with excellent understanding in Middleware technology.

Build Deployments and implement middleware products to meet business demands.

Work with Developers and Architects in developing middleware configurations based on requirements.

Perform troubleshooting, incident response, RCA in a timely manner.

Should be able to implements Automation DevOps tool, Ansible , Jenkins , Shell scripts , python, perl as per bussiness requirement.

Able to handle , troubleshout of SSL Certificates implements, generation of different type certificate and converting in different type format, SSL implementation for Webspher Applicarion Server , Add/Import/export and converting certificates in different, Adding in trust store , Keys tore certificate and global securityusing CA and self signed certificates/external certificates

Good knowledge in advanced configuration concepts like JMS Integration, Service integration Bus, Web Services, Destinations, Message Activations Specifications, Listeners, ports, MQ Connection Factories, Queues, Application Servers, Clusters, Shared Libraries, Profiles, JDBC providers, Data Sources, URL Providers, JVM Custom Services, Environment Variables, etc.

Creating MQ Objects in Development, Test and Production Environments, Set and check Authorities on Queue Managers, Channels, and Queues.

Should have good knowledge in Backup and restore, Manual backup on WAS Profiles and DmgrConfig, Backup of queue manager configuration and Queue.

Should have good knowledge in RHEL, AIX and windows environments.

Experience in scripting for automation of application deployments and other infrastructure components

Ability to monitor Applications, Generated core dumps and Heap dumps with support from team members along with experience on urban code
